Hey there, I'm Ben! I've been capturing weddings as an award-winning wedding videographer for over 9 years now - I am not sure how that time passed! My passion is crafting one-of-a-kind, creative wedding films that are unique to every couple. Not only that, I pride myself on being a calm, relaxed presence on your wedding day and my goal is to make the process as easy & fun as possible for you before, during & after the wedding. I'm all about telling your story in a beautiful & creative way that perfectly captures your vibe. I shoot almost all my weddings solo, in the hope of keeping the attention away from the cameras & allowing me to use my creativity to make something special whilst you just get to enjoy your day!
So much of your life's story unfolds in one day, let me tell a story unique to you.
Ben Radley Wedding Films operates in Salisbury, Wiltshire but I travel all over the UK & Europe.
Wedding Videography – Frequently Asked Questions:
How much does a wedding videographer cost in the UK?
Wedding videography in the UK typically ranges from around £1,500 to £5,000+, depending on experience, style, and what’s included. Most couples investing in a cinematic, story-led wedding film can expect to spend somewhere in the middle to higher end of that range.
For me, it’s less about hours covered and more about the final film itself—something that feels timeless, natural, and genuinely reflective of the day. Every wedding is slightly different, so I tailor coverage to suit what matters most to you rather than offering rigid packages. Read more here.
Is having a wedding videographer really worth it?
For most couples, it becomes the most valued parts of the wedding afterwards.
Photos capture moments beautifully, but film brings everything back - the voices, the atmosphere, the movement, and the emotion in a way nothing else can. It allows you to relive the day as it actually felt, not just how it looked. I blend authenticity and creativity to make that happen in the best way possible.
A lot of couples say it’s the one thing they didn’t fully appreciate until after the wedding, when they realise how quickly the day passes. Read more.
What is cinematic or documentary wedding videography?
Cinematic wedding videography is about storytelling rather than just documenting events. It focuses on capturing real moments, natural interactions, and the overall feeling of the day, then shaping that into a film that flows emotionally and visually.
My approach leans heavily into cinematic documentary storytelling - observing rather than directing - so nothing feels staged or forced. The aim is to create something that feels honest and personal, rather than something overly posed or traditional. Read more here.
How far in advance should you book a wedding videographer?
Most couples book their videographer between 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak dates in spring and summer.
That said, it’s always worth checking availability even if your wedding is sooner. I do often have dates late notice.
If you already connect with someone’s work, it’s usually best not to leave it too long - availability tends to be the biggest limiting factor. Learn more.
