Syrencot is one of my favourite venues to film in Wiltshire - and it's easy to see why couples fall in love with it. Tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside just five miles from Stonehenge, this exclusive-use Georgian estate combines a Grade II listed manor house, a contemporary barn, and a beautiful light-filled glasshouse, all set within five acres of walled gardens and grounds that feel entirely private and removed from the world.
As an exclusive-use venue, Syrencot gives you and your guests the complete estate for the day - which means no strangers walking through your ceremony, no shared spaces, and an atmosphere that feels genuinely intimate regardless of how many guests you've invited. I’ve filmed close to somewhere between 30-40 weddings at Syrencot since it opened in 2019.
Videography at Syrencot
From a videographer's perspective, Syrencot is a genuinely beautiful location to work with. The glasshouse ceremony space is filled with natural light from every angle - the kind of soft, diffused light that makes footage look effortlessly cinematic without any technical intervention. The walled garden is extraordinary for couple footage, with its mature planting, stone walls, and changing character through the seasons. And the Farmshed reception barn has a warmth and texture in the evening light that I love.
